The Hummingbird Project writer-director Kim Nguyen discusses how he avoids getting stuck in creating backstory, his process of screen testing with friends, and how he was able to set the tone for his protagonist in one scene.
The thriller starring Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) and Salma Hayek (Frida) follows a pair of high-frequency traders who go up against their old boss in an effort to make millions in a fiber-optic deal.
